FUNCTION: Renovation of the AVA store and parking lot, optimization of vacant spaces into co-working space, one apartment and indoor parking

The existing street and parking facade, consisting of a distinctive beam and column structure, is preserved and emphasized. The closed parts are filled with orange-red brick. Internally, the vacant classrooms on the first and second floors will be arranged as co-working space, around a new patio. The exterior parking lot will be maximally greened. The existing interior parking lot on the second floor will be reused. The renovated access ramp to this inner parking lot will cover the future park and walking area of the Kleine Zenne. On the second floor, facing the street, the project provides a large four-room apartment with a large terrace.
